Kindzmarauli Red Sweet Wine
This semi sweet red wine is distinguished by its famous place of origin of Kindzmarauli. It is made from Saperavi variety of grape grown in the Kindzmarauli region of Georgia, on the left bank of the river Alazani. It is for this reason that the wine is named after the region where the grapes are harvested; Kindzmarauli.
Like all unique things, Georgia wine is not your regular kind of wine. It is packed with history and tradition that dates back to 8,000 years.
The country of Georgia is believed to be the birthplace of wine, where grape vines were first domesticated to make wine. Their wine making traditions and technologies have now spread across the world.
Georgia has gone through 8,000 years historically using the traditional qvevri methods (where clay vessel is entirely buried in the ground to make and store wine ready for serving at ground temperature).
We share this part of tradition with you through this unique bottle of Kindzmarauli semi sweet red wine.
