Round Hill Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

Smooth, juicy, and effortlessly enjoyable, this Round Hill Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted for everyday moments without compromising on depth or character.

In the glass, it shows a deep ruby color, opening with inviting aromas of blackberry, black cherry, and a touch of caramel. The palate delivers generous flavors of plum and blackberry, layered with subtle sweetness and spice. Well balanced with fresh acidity and soft tannins, it finishes long, smooth, and satisfying.

Pairings: This is a versatile, food friendly red that pairs beautifully with grilled meats, hearty pasta dishes, or a juicy hamburger. It also complements cheeses like brie or cheddar and even chocolate desserts, making it a flexible choice for both meals and casual indulgence.

Varietal Details:
Style: Dry red wine
Structure: Balanced acidity, soft tannins
Finish: Long and smooth

The 2022 vintage was shaped by two distinct phases, separated by an early fall heat wave. Grapes harvested before the heat produced wines with bright acidity, elegance, and rich flavor concentration.

The growing season began with mild, steady conditions, supported by ample rainfall at the end of 2021 that replenished soil moisture. This allowed for balanced vine growth and careful irrigation through the summer months.

Extended hang time on the vine enhanced both structure and mouthfeel, resulting in a wine with aromatic complexity, purity of fruit, and a well rounded profile.

Crafted in the Round Hill style, this Cabernet Sauvignon is approachable, consistent, and expressive, reflecting both thoughtful vineyard management and a well balanced vintage.
